New release: a friendlier quest selection flow

Postby 10x10room » Mon Feb 11, 2013 6:21 pm

While we've been busy lately working on Conclave's music and its revised and expanded quests, we're continuing to improve its user interface when we can. Today we pushed out a change that better integrates quest selection into the flow of your party's experience:

  • If you're on the quest map and someone else selects a quest for your party, your screen will update to show it and let you proceed.
  • In the past, certain actions would bounce you off the quest map and back to the end of your party's last quest. Now you'll stay on the quest map.
  • If you join a new party that's between quests, you'll jump straight to the quest map, rather than having to navigate from the end of their last quest.
  • More generally, anytime your party is between quests, you'll jump to the quest map when you select your character (assuming your character is fully caught up on events, that is).

As always, let us know if you run into any problems.

So... when are we getting more quests and levels higher than 5?

That's what we are working on right now. Or, to be more precise, we are finishing up a new set of free quests that update and replace the current ones, then immediately following that we'll be working on finishing the additional fifteen quests that complete the first campaign and bring characters all the way up to level 10.
