Today we released the first of these, which streamlines combat by reducing the number of events you have to read and click through for certain results:
- Terrain only generates an event if it produces a new effect. Once you're already burning from standing on a fiery square, for example, you won't see additional narration unless something changes.
- Any conditions that wear off for a side now take place in a single event, rather than requiring you to navigate through one event for each condition. In other words, you'll only have to click once to watch any of your party's conditions wear off, and ditto for any conditions of your foes.
- Similarly, any damage from ongoing conditions -- burning, bleeding, and poisoned -- will happen in a single event for each side.
